The owner of First Class Crashpads is a Chicago-based pilot who stayed in crashpads in both Newark and Chicago...none of which provided any of the comforts of home. They also lacked active, involved management. First Class Crashpads set out to change that. An ideal crashpad location (right off of the Blue Line) became available and The Brick opened in 2013. Because of The Brick's short commute from the airport, the high-class accommodations and the comfort of the neighborhood, The Brick gained the reputation of being "the best crashpad in Chicago." Two additional homes, The Brown Stone and The Higgins House, were recently added to the crashpad family.
